PORTLAND, OR, Jul 13, 2012 - Second Star Designs has been selected as the only children's clothing designer to participate in an international fashion runway event. This eco-oriented, small business will showcase 15 of their top designs for the 2012/2013 season alongside dozens of other , incredibly talented fashion designers.
Baltimore FashionWeek is among the first major runway events in the United States to have opened the catwalk to children's clothing designers. Not since 2010 has a children's clothing designer graced the fashion runway; of all artisans who applied to participate in this event, Caryn Stockwell, of Second Star Designs in Vancouver, WA, was the only children's clothing designer included in the designer selection process. She will be opening for Baltimore FashionWeek with the debut of her 2012/2103 collection on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the Pikesville Hilton in Baltimore County, MD.
